Joyas musicales XLIV (“Always on my mind”)

No podía faltar en mi lista de joyas musicales una voz como la de Elvis Presley, una voz reconocible que marcó la historia del rock gracias a sus innovaciones y a su personal manera de entender la música.

Muchas de sus canciones son verdaderas obras de arte musical pero “Always on my mind” tiene un áurea especial que la convierte en una poema de amor, una oda a la melancolía por el amor perdido, una cura de humildad por haber dejado escapar el amor, el amor verdadero.
